SB69 Mandated Reporter Law

Passed in 2009, SB69 expands the definition of reportable child abuse and requires the mandatory reporting of child abuse to include all sexual exploitation.

SB69 has two vital achievements. First, it correctly labels the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) as a form of child abuse. Second, it formalizes the role of the community in identifying and supporting victims of abuse.
