Sex trafficking is a complex issue that is too often misunderstood through common myths. youthSpark believes research is vital to creating change and informing evidence-based policy. Our research addresses the spectrum of trafficking issues, from understanding what pushes youth into the trafficking supply pool to examining cultural mechanisms that transform men into buyers. We strive to use research as a reliable means to understand existing trafficking processes, and then use that knowledge to prevent rather than simply react to the trafficking industry.
