Research Studies

Sex trafficking is a complex issue that is too often misunderstood through common myths. youthSpark believes research is vital to creating change and informing evidence-based policy.

Our research addresses the spectrum of exploitation issues, from understanding what pushes youth into the trafficking supply pool to examining cultural mechanisms that transform men into buyers. We use research to understand existing trafficking processes, and then use that knowledge to create evidence-based interventions grounded that work towards justice and equity.
